Professional regulations according to Section 5 I No. 5c TMG
Corporate health management (CHM) is the systematic and structured development, planning and control of corporate structures and processes with the aim of maintaining and promoting the health of employees.

Corporate health management pursues two strategies:
1. Relative prevention
Health-promoting changes in work and organizational design

2. Behavioral prevention
Empowering employees to adopt health-promoting behavior

The basis of occupational health management is the statutory obligation to ensure occupational health and safety (ArbSchG) and company integration management (BEM) (Section 167, Paragraph 2 of the Social Code, Book IX). The third pillar of occupational health management is voluntary employer-provided health promotion services. To integrate occupational health management into operational processes, a "culture of prevention" must be developed and practiced within the company. This "culture of prevention" encompasses three additional fields of action:

Corporate culture/philosophy
organizational development
Human resources management/development

Implementation principles in BGM
In order to successfully implement BGM in the company, the following principles should be observed in all phases of the process:

participation
The involvement of employees, staff representatives and managers is fundamental for a needs-based approach and creates acceptance.
Qualification
The qualification of the actors involved in health in the company (e.g. steering committee members) is a prerequisite for the implementation of the process steps in BGM.
Information and communication
Informing and communicating through established procedures (internal and external) are the basis for the development of a common culture.

documentation
The documentation should be complete and up-to-date.
Networks and external support
Inter-company exchange and networking complements existing knowledge and creates synergies.
Diversity (e.g. gender and inclusion)
Equality and participation of all employees is ensured and target group-specific needs are taken into account.
Internal and external marketing
Targeted, regular and clear marketing promotes image and recognition.

Your company may already have strategies and tools in place to successfully implement these management tasks. These should be leveraged to integrate OHM into your processes in a resource-efficient manner.
